  • Australian Privacy Principles (APP) means the Principles under Schedule 1 of the Act.

  • Employee Records means a record of personal information relating to the employment of the employee as defined under the Act.

  • MBC Building means Moreton Bay City Building Services Pty Ltd and its respective subsidiaries.

  • MBC Building/our website means www.tobydrewhomes.com.au and any other website, app or online platform operated by MBC Building

  • Permitted General Situation means a situations in which an exception applies as described in paragraph 16B of the APPs.

  • Permitted Health Situation means a situation described in paragraph 16B of the APPs.

  • Personal information means personal information as defined under the Act. For the purposes of this policy, personal information does include de-identified information, anonymised data, publicly available sources of information, or information about corporate entities such as businesses, firms or trusts.

  • Primary and Secondary Purposes means the primary and secondary purposes stated at clause 6.1.

  • Sensitive information means sensitive information as defined under the Act.

  • Social media means MBC Building pages and accounts on social media forums, applications, functions and promotions (for example Facebook and Twitter).

  • Spam Act means the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

  • we (us, our, ours) refers to MBC Building

  • you (your, yours) refers to any individual who provides personal information to MBC Building

MBC Building sometimes collect data that, in and itself, does not directly identify you.

Employee records

This policy does not apply to the use or disclosure of information contained in Employee Records where it is directly related to the employment relationship of current and former MBC Building employees.

If you are providing personal information to us relating to a third party, you confirm that you have the consent of the third party to share such personal information with us, and that you have made the information in this policy available to that third party.

Notifiable data breaches

MBC Building will notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) and affected individuals if MBC Building has a ‘data breach’ within the meaning of the Act.

Changes to this policy

MBC Building may amend this policy from time to time. The amended policy will be published on this website.

Any changes will be effective as of the date they are published unless the policy provides for a later date.
